Wound Heart

A submission for the Jamsepticeye games jam.

The theme this time is death is an opportunity. The player must release their soul in doing so their life force slowly depletes, possess robots to restore health. Finally guide the player the through the tower avoiding perilous traps. 

Only through death can you proceed. I chose to add a further limitation and only use movement and a possession mechanic as controllable actions. 

My main focus was to communicate ideas to the player using a combination of text and visual elements to indicate what objects in the world do. 

I also experimented in trying to make the tower feel alive and atmospheric. 

Please download and extract the folder and run the exe. 

Has been tested but please notify me of any issues.
