A downloadable game for Windows

Created for MiniJam 125:

MiniJam 125's theme was signal.

Lost at sea, is this how the other met their end?

We decided that the original idea was to take the use of a radar, it would detect our player and alert enemies to our character's presence. Although the Ai and light source don't trigger a massive alert. The idea has still been replicated.

The limitation of this jam, was "everything is tied to the rhythm".  The decision to incorporate the TV screens in was to symbolise a graveyard of a sense. The screens will flash continuously throughout the game giving the player the much needed light to navigate through the level. The idea that a part of their souls linger within the screen and wish for our hero to not meet the same fate.

Additionally we implemented a heart rate system, here the player's heart rate will increase over time. When it reaches certain levels of danger, the TV's will also flash faster, additionally the music will increase to provide tension. "There is a lot more we would of liked to achieve, but I'm happy with the result." -Harry-James Linford.

The Oxygen cannisters are there, these are essentially are considered "health" pickups, these are going to, restore the players heartrate to a lower level. (Note the heartrate will be capped at 20).

Warnings:

  • If you suffer from epilepsy we would advise you to not play this game or take necessary risks when playing.

Plot:

Static is lost at sea, around them are the horrors of other units like them self, strung up and left to rot. The other units still have some power and will attempt to light the way for static to reach their home.
